Lenovo ThinkCentre 3319 Ram
RAM is actually temporary storage as the data it holds is blanked out every time your turn the computer off. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data that the processor uses for executing commands. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like programs or emails. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. Some RAM is mandatory in order for your desktop to run at all. The speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the software. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Key indicators that my desktop memory has to be replaced?
- The software does not display the correct amount of memory installed
- Nothing happens when trying to power on your system
- The screen will not display anything when booting up
- You may get quite a few weird errors showing up on your desktop throughout the day
