Lenovo ThinkCentre 3394 Hard Drive
Hard disk drives are manufactured in many different physical sizes and connection types. Hard drives can be touchy and they can go out whenever they want for any number of reasons! Your computer has a hard drive which is in charge of storing your important information and other data that the computer needs. Replacing the drive is an easy job if you know the steps to take, of course! The type of hard drive that you would need to buy depends on your particlular computer. The storage capacity of the hard drive is quite simply a personal preference as this computer will be able to handle any capacity size.
What red flags are there that my main HDD is not working properly?
- The computer may crash suddenly randomly even while using it
- The desktop shuts down when accessing a particular file
- With older hard drives you may occasionally hear a tick, tick, tick sound resonating from the computer
- It may get stuck trying to begin loading and may never boot all the way
- Your system halts or does weird stuff at random times
