Lenovo ThinkCentre 3678 Video Card
A graphics card computes and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where it is displayed for you. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated graphics are integrated into the motherboard itself, while dedicated is a separarate piece of hardware that gets installed. Dedicated video cards are typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. Most new desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a graphics card to be installed on the motherboard. Integrated display adapters are not as good as a dedicated video card, in general.

- The Lenovo ThinkCentre 3678 restarts when starting a graphic intensive program
