Lenovo ThinkCentre 4169 Video Card
A video card computes and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you. There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one spot available for a dedicated video card to be added to the system. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for any high-end games you play on a desktop like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. Integrated video cards are not as good as dedicated graphic cards, generally speaking.
Major symptoms the display adapter will have to be replaced
- The graphics on your screen shows stretched or elongated pictures
- The Lenovo ThinkCentre 4169 freezes when beginning a game
- The screen does not always come on when booting up
- A driver for the video card has problems installing like it should
