Lenovo ThinkCentre 4495 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one spot available for a video card to be installed. Integrated video cards will never be better than dedicated graphic cards, generally speaking. A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. A video card processes the input and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results. At the moment, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second.
