Lenovo ThinkCentre 5057 Power Supply
Purchasing a new Lenovo ThinkCentre 5057 PSU is a piece of cake, provided you are still in posession of the old power supply for making size comparisons. It is not too difficult to install a power supply in the ThinkCentre 5057 desktop. The PSU, or power supply, is responsible for powering the motherboard, CPU, hard drive and other components that need power. Be sure to replace a PSU with the same wattage or larger. Never go with the cheapest power supply because it is the only barrier between the outside power grid and your delicate internal Lenovo components.
Signals your PSU will not last the year
- The Lenovo will not power on
- You notice smoke in your PSU
- The Lenovo shuts down while processing a heavy load
