Lenovo ThinkCentre 5393 Ram
The RAM speed is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the size is dictated by the system software. RAM stores pieces of data for the CPU to use for executing commands. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is deleted when the system shuts down. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. But, it will affect the speed of the computer. A computer will not boot without having the RAM installed. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Some clues your RAM has to be replaced
- The screen will not display correctly when starting up
- The software does not display the correct memory amount
- Emptiness fills the air when trying to boot up your desktop
- The system produces random errors on your desktop intermittently
