Lenovo ThinkCentre 6072 Wifi
You are better off buying a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your Lenovo desktop. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware in order to connect to your router and modem. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest.
Hints of a worsening onboard WiFi
- Your wireless internet connection disconnects and reconnects during the day
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The WiFi adapter on your desktop is unable to connect to the internet
