Lenovo ThinkCentre 6086 Ram
Your desktop RAM stores pieces of data that the CPU is currently using for applications. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like programs or emails. Instead, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. Having the RAM installed is mandatory even for your desktop to run at all. The speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is governed by the system software. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the data it holds gets blanked out every time you turn your desktop off. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
