Lenovo ThinkCentre 6137 Wifi
You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your desktop. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your home router. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Signals the wireless card will need to be replaced
- Your WiFi on your desktop does not connect at all
- Your wireless internet connection has trouble connecting during the day
- The desktop wireless driver shows it as not installed
