Lenovo ThinkCentre 6209 Ram
Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for a computer to even boot. RAM is considered volatile memory as its storage is erased when you shut down your system. The speed of the RAM is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is dictated by the operating system. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of information that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
