Lenovo ThinkCentre 7049 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your desktop. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter to communicate with your home network. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
Hints your internal WiFi is in need of replacing
- The WiFi adapter driver shows it as not installed
- Your WiFi signal drops for no reason during the day
- The wireless adapter on your desktop will not connect to your router anymore
