Lenovo ThinkCentre 7064 Ram
RAM is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets deleted when you shut down your system. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data that the central processing unit uses for applications. The RAM speed is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the OS. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for a computer to run at all. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it has a positive impact on the speed of your desktop. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Simple indications of a declining RAM memory
- You get a lot of errors on your desktop throughout the day
- Nothing happens when you initiate your desktop
- The screen will not display anything when you turn your system on
- The main operating system cannot report the right amount of RAM as it should
