Lenovo ThinkCentre 7354 Ram
Your desktop RAM stores random bits of information that the computer uses for applications. The clock speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the software. Some RAM is mandatory even for a computer to even boot. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is erased every time your turn the computer off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it has a positive impact on the speed of the computer. If you are ever in doubt, remember that you can never have too much RAM.
What to see if the RAM board has to be replaced?
- The main screen will not light up when starting up
- The system does not display the correct RAM amount
- You tend to have invalid access errors on your desktop intermittently
- Silence when you power on your desktop
