Lenovo ThinkCentre 7359 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your desktop. It is much simpler to buy a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem.
Major symptoms the wireless card will not live much longer
- The WiFi adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The wireless adapter on your desktop will not connect to your router anymore
- The wireless signal has trouble connecting throughout the day
