Lenovo ThinkCentre 7516 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your Lenovo desktop. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, makes use of a wireless adapter in order to connect to your router and modem. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
What are the indications that my WiFi adapter is not working properly?
- The wireless adapter in your Lenovo desktop is unable to connect to the internet
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The wireless signal drops multiple times throughout the day
