Lenovo ThinkCentre 7518 Ram
RAM is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is erased every time you turn your desktop off. Your desktop RAM stores pieces of information that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the overall speed and quickness of your Lenovo. Your desktop cannot run without the necessary RAM properly installed. The clock speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is guided by the OS. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Major clues of an unhealthy RAM memory
- You tend to have weird errors showing up on your desktop intermittently
- The main operating system does not show the right amount of RAM
- Emptiness fills the air when trying to boot up your desktop
- The main screen will not turn on when starting up
