Lenovo ThinkCentre 7706 Ram
Some RAM is mandatory for a computer to run. RAM stores small bits of data that the CPU is currently using for applications. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like programs or emails. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is dictated by the operating system. RAM is actually volatile memory as all the information held gets removed when you shut down your system. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Do you know if your RAM stick is about to stop working?
- Silence as you initiate your desktop
- The OS cannot report the right amount of RAM
- The screen will not display anything when you turn your system on
- You may get quite a few errors on your desktop throughout the day
