Lenovo ThinkCentre 8086 Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter in order to connect to your home network. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the current operating system on your Lenovo desktop. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically.
Warnings of a deteriorating onboard WiFi
- Your wireless internet connection has trouble connecting every day
- Your WiFi on your desktop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The desktop wireless driver shows it as not installed
