Lenovo ThinkCentre 8135 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as its storage is blanked out every time you turn your desktop off. Your desktop cannot run without having RAM. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the system software. The RAM in your computer stores pieces of data that the central processing unit uses for executing commands. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like programs or emails. But, it will impact the speed of the computer. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
What red flags are there that my desktop memory is about to stop working?
- Nothing happens when attempting to start your desktop
- The software does not report the correct RAM amount
- You tend to have invalid access errors on your desktop as you use it
- The main screen will not turn on when you turn your system on
