Lenovo ThinkCentre 8163 Video Card
Almost all newer desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a graphics card to be added to the system. Today, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated video card market, while AMD is in second. All video cards computes and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where it is displayed for you. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Dedicated video cards are pretty much required for high-end games on the desktop like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as a dedicated video card, in general.
