Lenovo ThinkCentre 8288 Ram
Your desktop RAM stores random bits of information that the CPU is currently using for programs. RAM is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is removed when you shut down your system. The speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is guided by the software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like picture or movies. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. Some RAM is mandatory in order for a computer to boot up. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that you can never have too much RAM.

- The desktop screen will not display anything when you start your desktop
- The software does not report the correct memory size
- Emptiness fills the air when attempting to initiate your system
- You may get quite a few weird errors showing up on your desktop throughout the day
