Lenovo ThinkCentre 8294 Ram
RAM is a type of temporary storage as all the data it holds gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. The RAM in your computer stores random bits of information that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for your desktop to boot up. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is dictated by the operating system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like picture or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
What warnings are present when my RAM stick will soon go out?
- The OS cannot report the right memory size
- You may get quite a few invalid access errors on your desktop as you use it
- The main screen will not turn on when you turn your system on
- Emptiness fills the air when trying to start your desktop
