Lenovo ThinkCentre 8295 Wifi
The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home router. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your desktop. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically.
What are the indications that my WiFi adapter is failing?
- Your wireless internet connection drops for no reason throughout the day
- Your WiFi in your Lenovo desktop does not connect at all
- The desktop wireless driver cannot be installed
