Lenovo ThinkCentre 8430 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is deleted every time you turn your desktop off. Some RAM is mandatory even for a computer to run. The RAM speed is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is guided by the OS. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. Your desktop RAM stores small bits of information that the CPU is currently using for executing commands. If there is ever a doubt, just be sure to remember that you can never have too much RAM in your system.
How do you know if your desktop memory has to be replaced?
- You may get quite a few invalid access errors on your desktop as you use it
- The software does not show the right amount of RAM as it should
- Emptiness fills the air as you boot up your desktop
- The screen does not turn on when starting up
