Lenovo ThinkCentre 8819 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your desktop. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your router. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. It is much simpler to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
What are the indications that my WiFi adapter is in need of replacing?
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The wireless adapter in your Lenovo desktop will not connect to your router anymore
- The wireless signal drops multiple times every day
