Lenovo ThinkCentre 9189 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your desktop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your home network. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
What symptoms are present when the WiFi adapter is almost going bad?
- Your wireless internet connection drops for no reason every day
- The wireless adapter driver gives errors when installing
- The wireless adapter on your desktop will not connect to your router anymore
