Lenovo ThinkCentre 9211 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Most newer computers will have at least one spot available for a dedicated video card to be installed on the motherboard. At the moment, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Dedicated video cards are typically a required piece of hardware for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. A video card computes and renders images to the monitor where you can see the results. Integrated display adapters are almost never as good as a dedicated video card, generally speaking.
Easy warnings your desktop graphics card has little time left
- The monitor depicts nothing
- The computer reboots when trying to start up a graphic intensive game
- The screen does not always show up when starting up
- A driver for the video card fails to install like it should
