Lenovo ThinkCentre 9213 Ram
RAM is necessary even for your desktop to run. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of data that the computer uses for executing commands. The RAM speed is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the size is governed by the OS. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets erased when you shut down your system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Major indications of a weak RAM memory
- Emptiness fills the air as you try to initiate your desktop
- The main operating system cannot report the correct RAM amount
- The system produces errors on your desktop throughout the day
- The main screen does not display anything when you turn your system on
