Lenovo ThinkCentre 9217 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. A dedicated graphics card is pretty much required for high-end games on the desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. Both an integrated and dedicated video card processes the input and renders images to the monitor where it is displayed for you. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a graphics card to be installed on the motherboard. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second.
