Lenovo ThinkCentre 9288 Wifi
The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to connect to your router. Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your Lenovo desktop. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
What are some indications that my wireless card will soon go out?
- The WiFi goes out randomly every day
- The wireless adapter in your Lenovo desktop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The desktop wireless driver gives errors when installing
