Lenovo ThinkCentre 9303 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, while dedicated is a separarate piece of hardware that gets installed. Dedicated video cards are typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. A video card processes the input and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you. Integrated, or onboard, graphics will never be better than a separate video card, in general. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a dedicated video card to be installed.
How can I tell if my graphics card will soon go out?
- The graphics on your screen shows bits and pieces of the desktop
- The Lenovo ThinkCentre 9303 restarts when beginning a game
- The screen does not always turn on when starting up
- A driver for the video card fails to install like it should
