Lenovo ThinkCentre 9703 Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your Lenovo desktop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
What warnings are present when my wireless card is in need of a replacement?
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The WiFi drops for no reason over and over again
- The WiFi adapter in your Lenovo desktop is unable to connect to the internet
