Lenovo ThinkCentre 9705 Video Card
There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Most newer computers will have at least one PCIe slot open for a graphics card to be added to the system. A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. Currently, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is in second. Integrated, or onboard, graphics will never be better than dedicated graphic cards, in general. Both an integrated and dedicated video card processes graphics and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results.
