Lenovo ThinkCentre 9853 Video Card
There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. A dedicated graphics card is pretty much required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. At the moment, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. A graphics card processes graphics and sends the rendered images to a monitor where you can see the results. Integrated, or onboard, graphics will never be better than dedicated graphic cards, in general. Most new desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a dedicated video card to be installed on the motherboard.
