Lenovo ThinkCentre 9964 Video Card
Dedicated video cards are typically a required piece of hardware for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Overwatch, Battlefield or Far Cry. Currently, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Most new desktops will have at least one spot available for a dedicated video card to be added to the system. All video cards processes graphics and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where you can see the results. There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Integrated display adapters will never be better than dedicated graphic cards, generally speaking.
Simple signals the video card will soon need to be replaced
- The graphics on your screen produces lines
- Your Lenovo reboots when starting a game
- The display does not show up when booting up
- The video card driver fails to install like it should
