Lenovo ThinkCentre A57 Power Supply
You do not always want to go with the cheapest PSU because it is the only barrier between the outside power grid and your delicate internal Lenovo components. Purchasing a new Lenovo ThinkCentre A57 PSU is a piece of cake, provided you are still in posession of the old power supply to measure, size-wise. It is usually pretty easy to install a new PSU in the ThinkCentre A57 desktop. Be sure to replace a PSU with the same wattage or larger. The PSU, or power supply, is in charge of distributing power to the motherboard, CPU, hard drive and other components that need power.
Major indications the power supply will eventually need to be replaced
- Computer refuses to start
- You see smoke in your power supply
- System shuts down while under a certain amount of stress
