Lenovo ThinkCentre A58E Video Card
A video card processes the input and renders images to the monitor where it is displayed for you. Dedicated video cards are typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated graphics are integrated into the motherboard itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Most new desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a video card to be installed. Integrated display adapters will never be better than a dedicated video card, in general.
