Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 3399 Video Card

Most newer computers should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a video card to be installed. There are two types of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. A dedicated graphics card is pretty much required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. A graphics card processes graphics and sends the resulting images to an external monitor where it is displayed for you. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Integrated display adapters are not as good as dedicated graphic cards, generally speaking.
