Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 3426 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your desktop. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your home network. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. It is much simpler to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
How do you know when your onboard WiFi is almost dead?
- The desktop wireless driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- Your WiFi in your Lenovo desktop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The WiFi drops multiple times all the time
