Lenovo ThinkPad 2668 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the current operating system on your Lenovo laptop. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your home network. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Most USB wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically.
Clues the wireless card is in dire need of a replacement
- Your WiFi signal disconnects and reconnects over and over again
- The wireless adapter in your Lenovo laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The WiFi adapter driver shows it as not installed
