Lenovo ThinkPad A21E Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data for the CPU to use for executing commands. RAM is a type of temporary storage as the data it holds is removed every time you turn your laptop off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like programs or emails. Instead, it does have a correlation to the overall speed and quickness of your Lenovo. The speed of the RAM is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the operating system. Some RAM is mandatory for your laptop to run at all. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Major symptoms your RAM will not last the year
- The main screen does not light up when booting up
- Emptiness fills the air when trying to power on your system
- The system cannot report the correct amount of RAM as it should
- The system produces random reboots on your laptop intermittently
