Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E135 Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your home network. It will be easier to buy a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your laptop. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
Main clues your internal WiFi needs replacing
- The laptop wireless driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The WiFi adapter on your laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- Your WiFi signal disconnects itself throughout the day
