Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E40 Wifi
Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the current operating system on your laptop. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to connect to your home network. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
Do you know if your wireless internet adapter is crapping out?
- The wireless adapter on your laptop does not connect at all
- The laptop wireless driver shows it as not installed
- The wireless signal goes in and out throughout the day
