Lenovo ThinkPad G41 Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware in order to connect to your home router. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your Lenovo laptop. It will be easier to buy a new USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Most new Wifi adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
Signs the WiFi adapter should be replaced
- The wireless adapter driver cannot be installed
- Your wireless internet connection drops for no reason throughout the day
- The WiFi adapter on your laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
