Lenovo ThinkPad R500 Wifi
Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your laptop. It is much simpler to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to communicate with your router.
What are some indications that my wireless internet adapter is not working properly?
- The WiFi adapter driver shows it as not installed
- The WiFi drops for no reason over and over again
- The wireless adapter in your Lenovo laptop will not connect to your router anymore
