Lenovo ThinkPad R51 Ram
Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. Instead, it will impact the speed of your laptop. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets removed every time you turn your laptop off. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the system software. The RAM in your computer stores small bits of information for the CPU to use for executing commands. Your laptop is unable to run without having RAM. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Hints your RAM has very little life left
- The OS produces weird errors showing up on your laptop as you use it
- The laptop screen will not light up when starting up
- The software does not report the right memory size
- Emptiness fills the air as you try to power on your laptop
