Lenovo ThinkPad T431s Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to talk to your router. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the operating system that is installed on your laptop.
Subtle hints the WiFi adapter is failing
- Your WiFi in your Lenovo laptop does not connect at all
- Your WiFi signal goes in and out during the day
- The WiFi adapter driver shows it as not installed
