Lenovo ThinkPad T440P Wifi
WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the operating system that is installed on your laptop. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
What are the indications that my WiFi adapter is crapping out?
- The wireless signal disconnects itself throughout the day
- The wireless adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The WiFi adapter in your Lenovo laptop will not connect to your router anymore
