Lenovo ThinkPad X22 Wifi
Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your laptop. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your home router. It is much simpler to buy a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
Some warnings the wireless card is in dire straights
- The WiFi goes in and out over and over again
- The WiFi adapter driver gives errors when installing
- The WiFi adapter in your Lenovo laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
